Does Anyone Know Any Really Good Small Publishing Companies?

I've been looking, and I currently have two novels written for teens. One novel I am sending to a publisher called Milkweed Editions, and the other I want to send them, but I'm not sure if they will accept two manuscripts from the same author.

If you're an author yourself and are published with a small publishing company, please tell what company that is.

ATTENTION: If you're just a person to earn points on here and you type in the search bar "publishing companies", please, I am not interested. That doesn't help me because I've already tried that.

I've already tried Tate Publishing [They accepted me, but were going to steal money from me] and Banda Press [rejected].

Thanks for your helpDoes Anyone Know Any Really Good Small Publishing Companies?
1) Bantam is a part of Dell Publishing - a major player that only deals with authors through agents. They dont accept unsolicited manuscripts.

2) Never query any publisher or agent without first checking them out through Preditors and Editors and Absolute Write Water Cooler Bewares and Background Checks. Milkweed isnt even listed at Preditors and Editors, so I dont know how honest they are. Northland isnt listed either. If you are in doubt, contact Dave K at Preditors and Editors or post at the Absolute Write forum and ask for info before you send. There are too many frauds and scams out there. Pax - C
If it's fantasy, try Baem.

check with Northland Pbulishing in Flagstaff, AZ. They have an excellent reputation and have published high quality books, mostly but not entirely related to the Southwest USA

the website is http://www.northlandbooks.com

Agent query is a site that has a list of small publishers, as well as a list of agents. Check this out:

I'm going to try Bantam next. It's nice to hear a good question from a fellow writer! Good Luck to you!
