Does anyone know any well known publishing companies?

I have a children book that I would like to publish. There is one problem, I have no clue how to do that. I need a well known publishing company that won't charge alot of money. Does anyone know any well known publishing companies?

Either go to the Writer's Market website (www.writersmarket.com) or get their book, Writer's Market ($20 on Amazon, libraries usually keep a copy). This organization lists agents and publishers that accept children's books, whether they're accepting submissions, where to get their guidelines, etc.



Unless you self-publish, you should not pay to be published. The publisher pays you.Does anyone know any well known publishing companies?
go to barnes and noble and get a book on publishers, or self publish. shouldnt be very expensive for a small childrens book. make enough copies to get noticed by a publisher and get picked up

Well you need an agent first, then you can either find a good publisher yourself or your agent could do it :)
