Are there any book publishing companies that would even think about reading what i've writen? Are there any book publishing companies that would publish a book written by a teen?
Any publisher would be delighted to publish your work - *if* they thought they could make a profit by so doing. That means your stories have to stand on their own merits against published stories written by adults. Being merely good for your age isn't going to cut it.
As an aside, most of the major publishers (the ones who can get your book into bookshops) won't consider your book unless you have an agent. An agent's job is to sift through the thousands of mostly-unreadable manuscripts that wannabe authors send him every year and forward the ten or twenty that he thinks stand a chance to whichever publisher(s) he thinks will be most interested in them.
I'm not gonna lie to you, it'll be hard to get published at your age. But it's not impossible. First you'd need an agent, a good one with connections. Then, of course you need a good manuscript to send to publishing companies. There isn't a specific company that says they take manuscripts from teens, but that doesn't mean they won't look at them. Just be SURE you get an agent, I've already said that but it's important. There's one woman who throws any work done by an author with no agent into the slushpile, she doesn't even look at them.
Keep writing! Good Luck! Are there any book publishing companies that would publish a book written by a teen?
There aren't any book companies which _wouldn't_ publish it, if it was good enough.
Since there's no need to tell them how old you are until you explain to them why it's not your signature on the contract, it is a non-issue. The only reason they will know is if your writing is obviously not adult...at which point you are not a good enough writer to be published yet.
Your query letter shouldn't contain your age. It's irrelevant.
Can you write at the level of qualities that you see on your library and bookstore shelves? If so, then you might have a shot. If not, then forget about it. - that's for anyone, regardless of age. You don't get special treatment because of your age. You're competing with adults with much more writing experience than you. If you can show that same level of experience in your writing then you might have a shot. "same level of experience" meaning not writing like a true amateur by making all the amateur creative writing mistakes. Are there any book publishing companies that would publish a book written by a teen?
Good Continue your writing habit. Mrs J.K.Rowling went to so many publishers to get her first book printed. Finally one unknown publisher agreed to print first volume of Harry Porter. Do not worry about the initial problem, consider the problems as experience.
I think there are. :) Good luck!

Any of them would if it was written to the standard of the books adults have written.
Anyone can publish a book if it's accepted.
