Who are you kidding? Unless you are an established popular author, you would beg for ANY publisher to even read your work.
Get some books on how to present your novel to a publisher. Normally you need to first get an agent by sending letters with your novel summarized down to a page or so. He will want to see a chapter or two, then perhaps the whole novel. He will present your work to the larger publishers.
Otherwise approach the smaller publishers yourself in a manner similar to the above.
Make sure your novel is totally written, free of any grammar and spelling errors, and proof read by a few people.
.Publishing companies?
1) Purchase a copy of the 2007 Writers Market
