Can you name some big rock music publishing companies?

I want to sell my original pop/rock songs. What are the major pub companies for that? Thanks! Can you name some big rock music publishing companies?
Rather than going to a publisher, try publishing them yourself. Copyright your songs with a circled lower case "c", sign them, date them, and say" All rights reserved". Make copies of the songs. Go to the Post Office with the originals and mail your songs in collection to yourself certified but not the copies. That way, you can proove that you are the composer. Take the copies to your local music store and see if they will allow you to demonstrate and display your songs. Sell them on consignment priced according to your cost in producing them but don't be greedy. Increase your price as demand increases. Look for a publisher only after it becomes absolutely neccesary.
I would strongly urge to not do that.

Promote it yourself. In 2007, you can...Can you name some big rock music publishing companies?

Choose independent record companies, they normally give you more freedom.
