Are there any publishing companies that accept teenage authors?

if you're good enough, your age won't matter. i don't think they can ask how old a person is, just submit your manuscript, don't write "i'm a teenager" across the cover. Are there any publishing companies that accept teenage authors?
Age works against you as far as education and life experience are concerned--in other words, you don't have as much of either of those things as most adult authors, so it will be very difficult for you to write a publishable book. But your age by itself won't trouble a publisher. In fact, if your work is publishable, they're highly likely to make a big deal about your youth in order to grab media attention for the book.

Just be aware that if you're 13 and you've written a really amazing book for a 13-year-old, that will mean nothing to a publisher. You have to write a really good BOOK.
