Do you know of any good publishing companies? (not self publishing)?

Ok i'm 13 and i have writen some novels but i dont know of any good publishing companies. can someone help me out? i dont want any self publishing companies (they cost too much money)

Buy the 2009 Writer's Market. It lists many publishing companies along with all the literary agents and periodicals (mags, journals etc) that accept unsolicited material. What they pay, when they pay, the editors and other information. It's the writer's Bible. It comes out every year. Well worth the $25 to $30 investment.Do you know of any good publishing companies? Ballentine, Random House, Knopf. Look, you need to look up the writer's market. You can buy the book or you can look them up online. The thing is, each publishing house has its requirements as to how to submit your work. Some will only take agented work. You've studied writing, I hope, but you also need to study how to market your work.
