Do all publishing companies have editors on site?

I'm looking for a publishing company to volunteer in because I am an aspiring book editor. I live in Arvada, CO so I'm a tad limited here. I have found multiple companies that are labeled "Publishing and Printing". Does that mean that their sole job there is to publish and print or do they have editors within the same building doing their job? If not, what would I look up to find a building where editors work?Do all publishing companies have editors on site?
You need to see if those companies have websites, and see what their services are. Printers do not necessarily entail editing, and if it does offer editing then they offer it as a paid service. If you have no experience in it then you're not going to get an internship where you're directly editing manuscripts. You need some kind of background or you need to work your way up, which could be getting people coffee for awhile.

Yes, being in Colorado will hamper you. If you're still in high school then think about going to college in or around New York. That's were most of the publishing houses and literary agents are located. There are a few that are located in other states, but they are few and far between. Actually, you're in luck, here is one literary agency that employs interns and it's located in Denver. http://www.nelsonagency.com/ , on her blog she talks about the process of hiring an intern and what you need to know if you want the position.

You really need to work your way up, preferably with an paid or non-paid internship that will get your foot in the door. The kind of job you do in your internship will depend on the agency. You can do a search for different literary agencies or search for some here, http://www.aaronline.org and see what their requirements are. In college you need to major in English, Creative writing, literature, or some kind of writing degree to put yourself in a more desirable position. You also need to be a prolific reader. You can visit some publisher websites to see if they offer internships. Just look for the publisher on some of your books and then visit their websites. You can also look for an internship at a newspaper or magazine for experience.
