Me and my best friends are young adults that want our books published. Are there any companies that would take us seriously? What are some small publishing companies for someone writing their first book?
Plenty of companies will take you seriously, at least if you take yourself seriously and turn in a clean, obsessively-revised manuscript. If you're writing young adult fiction, wouldn't that make you an expert in the genre? (I'm only assuming the book you wrote is YA.)

The second link is a subscription kind of deal, but it's cheap and completely worth it. I don't think you will be very lucky unless you spend some money looking for the appropriate market. What are some small publishing companies for someone writing their first book?
Small publishers constantly come and go. You should start reading "Writer's Digest," which is probably available at yur local library. It has important articles on publishing. YOu will soon get a feel for which publishers might be a good fit for the sort of books you do.
