the address of the publisher is usually inside the cover of the book. I would check a bookstore or library and get the publishers names for similar books.
Then write the publisher and say you would appreciate submission requirements for your book .
you can actually get investors or backers to pay to get it published. if you send copies of your book to places or people they will offer to pay finances if they are interested in your book. you just have to know who to rub elbows with and get the right connections.
some places will publish your book if they think it has potential for a small fee of whatever money you make off of your book. you just have to know where to look. it helps to call around to publishing companies. it can take a while for results though, so have patience. i hope this helpsPublishing Companies where you don't pay them?
Your local library will have a copy of the current hard copy of the book _Writers Market_, so you can get a lot more answers there. Another thing you might try, is open up any book you have lying around, unless it was self-published, and see what company published it.
This is an area where you need to do lots of research. Many publishing companies don't take unsolicited manuscripts, so you would first need to find an agent. Yet, there are publishing companies out there that DO take unsolicited manuscripts.
Try looking here at Preditors and Editors.

You can't get in the door with real, paying publishers without an agent.
Finish your book. Make sure it's perfect. Then get an agent. The agent will get you the publishing deal.
