Any children publishing companies?

My niece and her best friend are writing a legitimate book that is in the works, it is a nonfiction story, I cannot say exactly what it is about due to its nonpublished state and to respect their privacy, but it is around 200 pages and is very good. Are there any publishing companies that you know of that would publish a book that is written for children, maybe they have a department or specialize in it, or something like that, that is not a children's book, but is WRITTEN by kids? t

Thank you!Any children publishing companies?
Of course you think it's perfect - that's what aunties are for.

There are plenty of companies that publish fiction written FOR children, but there are none that specialise in fiction written BY children. Statistically, children are those least able to write a book that's worth paying for, so any publisher who relied on them wouldn't stay in business for very long.

Before they think about approaching a publisher, tell them to finish the book and edit it at least a couple of times. No publisher is interested in something he can't sell, or can't sell *yet.*

Buy the current edition of Writers' Market or a similar directory. This lists all the publishers worth bothering with and tells you what you need to do to submit work to them. Since this is the kids' first book, expect it to be rejected by all of them. That just means they have to learn from their mistakes and try again.
