I know I will have a hard time being taken seriously. I am 13 and wrote an over 50,000 word novel. I am ready to finally publish it. Thank youPublishing companies for first time authors?

I know 50,000 words sounds like a lot, but it isn't a novel; it's a novella. Novels are a minimum of 70,000 and, for most publishers, 80,000 words. If you don't have an agent, you'll have to go to an independent publisher. Take a look at pred-ed.com. They list and rate publishers and agents. Good luck.
